At 06h40 a KNI Member from de Villiers Ave called the KNI Control Room and reported a suspicious male wearing dark colour clothing, walking in Durbell Rd. KNI Armed Response responded and found no suspicious male. They will keep a lookout for him whilst on patrols.
18 Jul 10 van Riebeeck Ave
At 17h00 a KNI Member from Alison Rd called the KNI Control Room and reported a horse and cart going travelling down van Riebeeck Ave, towards the Kenridge Primary School. KNI Armed Response responded and did not see any sign of the horse and cart. Will keep on conducting patrols in surrounding area.
17 Jul 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 09h17 KNI Armed Response was doing patrols in Bulawayo Ave and reported a garage door is open at a KNI Members home in Bulawayo Ave and the KNI Control Room was notified.
17 Jul 10 de Villiers Ave
At 14h20 a KNI Member from de Villiers Ave called the KNI Control Room and reported a black male looking very suspicious, wearing blue jeans, red and blue overalls. KNI Armed Response responded and found the described male at the top of de Villiers Ave and he was intoxicated. KNI Armed Response requested him to leave the area. He was followed until he was out of the area.

At 14h43 KNI Armed Response reported that he had ordered a suspicious person, that was knocking on doors for taxi money, to leave the area after a KNI Member from de Villiers Ave informed him.
17 Jul 10 Mildred Ave
At 16h57 a KNI Member from Mildred Ave called the KNI Control Room and reported a reckless motor cyclist, riding on the field in Mildred Ave and using abusive language at the people. KNI Armed Response responded and reported that he had found no motorcyclist in the area.
17 Jul 10 Tulbagh Ave
At 11h00 a KNI Member from Tulbagh Ave called the KNI Control Room and reported a suspicious male in her front yard and he is scratching on her windows. KNI Armed Response responded. At 11h03 KNI Armed Response was informed the male is still there. On arrival the male had left already and all was found in order. Patrols were conducted
16 Jul 10 Alison Rd
A NON KNI Members car was broken into and a radio/front loader was stolen.
16 Jul 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 03h25 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave called the KNI Control Room and requested KNI Armed Response to come and check his property, as the security lights had been activated in their yard. KNI Armed Response responded and reported at 03h40. They reported they did a full premises check with the KNI Member and found all in order.
16 Jul 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 14h20 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the KNI Control Room and reported suspicious bags in the greenbelt between Bulawayo and Upper Kenridge Ave. KNI Armed Response responded and the bomb squad was notified. KNI Armed Response reported at 14h22 that there was old clothing inside the bags. All was found in order and the bomb squad was canceled.
