19 Jun 10 Kenridge Ave
At 14h40 a KNI Member from Kenridge Ave reported to the KNI Control Room that a white male, wearing cricket clothing, was knocking on doors and asking to wash cars. KNI Armed Response responded and reported at 14h45 that he could not see the male described. KNI Armed Response will keep on doing patrols to see if he can find the person.
18 Jun 10 Alison Rd
At 18h50 KNI Armed Response found a front gate open at a home in Alison Road. The owners (NON Member) weren't on site, KNI Armed Response conducted extra patrols.
17 Jun 10 Meerendal St
At 14h15 a KNI Member from Meerendal St contacted the KNI Control Room and requested for KNI Armed Response to come and see why her dogs are going bezurk. KNI Armed Response responded at 14h16 and reported back at 14h24. They could not find any irregularities and confirmed all in order at the clients home.
17 Jun 10 Roozenboom St
At 19h37 an anonymous person called the KNI Control Room and reported a vehicle was loading goods in the dark at a house in Roozeboom St. KNI Armed Response responded and reported back at 19h41. It is a Silver Corsa (registration noted) and the drivers name is Russell, he is busy installing a new kitchen for the home owners. The name of the owner of the house was given and her cell number was provided to confirm the story. When the number was contacted by the KNI Control Room it went over to voice mail and message was left. At 20h32 the home owner contacted the KNI Control Room and confirmed the story. Extra patrols were conducted.

At 16h40 KNI Armed Response reported to the KNI Control Room that there was an open garage door at a KNI Member's home in Irene Close. He managed to contact the KNI Member and reported all in order.
16 Jun 10 Jonkershoek Rd
At 04h15 KNI Armed Response reported to the KNI control room that he had found an open gate at a house in Jonkershoek Rd. KNI Control Room tried to contact the residents, but was only able to leave message on the cell phone.
16 Jun 10 Kenridge Centre
At 22h50 a KNI Member from Door de Kraal contacted the KNI Control Room and reported an alarm siren at the Kenridge Centre. KNI Armed Response were already there and are investigating. It was believed to be the alarm at the Chemist and no after hour numbers was on the doors, only the premises number. The number was called, hoping that there was an after hours number on the answering machine, but it only rang. The KNI Member was notified of the situation.
16 Jun 10 Ongegund St
At 11h21 KNI Armed Response was patrolling in Ongegund St and found a white Jetta (Registration number noted) parked in the driveway of a KNI Member home in Ongegund St. The only number available to us was contacted to confirm if vehicle is allowed on site, but to no success as the client was unreachable. KNI Armed Response kept doing patrols in the area to make sure there were no irregularities.
16 Jun 10 Upper Kenridge Ave
At 09h55 a KNI Member from Witboom Rd contacted the KNI Control Room and reported a suspicious white ford bakkie, registration number starting with CA 409, was seen in Upper Kenridge driving very slowly in the streets. KNI Armed Response responded at 09h56 and reported back at 10h04. The bakkie was found and it was the same bakkie that KNI Armed Response had questioned this morning. They drive around to see if there is any rubble to be removed from gardens. He will keep an eye on them while patrolling the area.
16 Jun 10 Van Riebeeck Ave
At 02h57 KNI Armed Response reported to the KNI Control Room about a motor vehicle accident in van Riebeeck Ave. There were two males inside; one residing in Durbanville and the other a visitor from Italy. Both were taken to hospital, both sustained serious injuries.
