28 Apr 10 Kenridge Ave
At 10:09 KNI Armed Response patrolled the area in Kenridge Avenue and reported overflowing drains in Kenridge Avenue. Ricci at Water Technicians was informed, reference number 1841372, and he said he will send his team to fix the overflowing drains.
28 Apr 10 Witboom Rd
At 15:09 a KNI Member from Witboom Rd contacted the KNI Control Room and reported a horse and cart driving up and down in Reservoir Rd. KNI Armed Response were dispatched and they approached the owners of the horse and cart and instructed them to remove themselves from the area. The KNI Armed Response escorted them out of the area
28 Apr 10 Witboom Rd
At 20:45 a KNI Member from Witboom Road phoned the KNI Control Room and reported a drunk, suspicious male, knocking on her door asking for salt. The male was dressed in a darkish coloured jersey, jeans, a beanie and he was carrying a packet. KNI Armed Response were dispatched and on arrival the male was nowhere to be seen. KNI Armed Response patrolled the area.

At 17:24 a KNI Member from Phesantekraal St phoned the KNI Control Room and reported a manhole cover, opposite his house, had just been stolen about 15 minutes ago. KNI Armed Response were informed and made their way to the client's residence. They conducted a search of the area and did not find any suspicious people.

At 20:00 a KNI Member from Tulbagh Ave phoned the KNI Control Room and reported that a white VW Polo had stopped in front of her house for 3 minutes. This has happened twice before that he stops and waits there for about 3 minutes, then moves away. KNI Armed Response was informed and Durbanville SAPS was notified. KNI patrols were conducted and unfortunately the vehicle had already left the area. KNI Patrols will be on the look out for the vehicle.
26 Apr 10 Brandwag Rd
At 09:45 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the KNI Control Centre and requested KNI Armed Response assistance to remove vagrants at a house in Brandwag Rd. KNI Armed Response were dispatched and removed the vagrant from the property.
26 Apr 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 00:35 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the KNI Control Centre and requested KNI Armed Response, as a suspicious male was in her back yard. KNI Armed Response were dispatched and on arrival the suspect had already fled and jumped over the neighbors wall. A search was conducted and while patrolling the area, looking for the suspect, an alarm activation took place at a KNI Members home also in Bulawayo Ave at 00:47. KNI Armed Response was dispatched and reported that they had found the back door open. KNI Control Room made contact with Durbanville SAPS, and contacted the KNI Member, who was away for the weekend. The KNI Member gave permission for the KNI Armed Response officers to enter his premises. KNI Armed Response reported that the SAPS had arrived and were busy conducting a check. It was a positive break in. The KNI Member was informed of the break in. Extra Patrols were performed throughout the night in the area. The suspect was not found.
26 Apr 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 12:08 KNI Armed Response patrolled the area and found a garage door half open at a KNI Member's house in Bulawayo Ave. KNI Armed Response spoke to the owner and reported to the KNI Control Centre that all was in oder.
26 Apr 10 De Bron Area
At 03:05 KNI Armed Response reported a suspicious, white, old model Ford Escort, driving recklessly through a red robot out of the Welgemoed area via Jip De Jager. Bellville SAPS were notified and the SAPS patrol vehicles will be on the lookout.
26 Apr 10 Door De Kraal Dam
At 17:20 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the KNI Control Centre and reported that there were four vagrants, fighting over a blue tog bag, in the park in Door De Kraal Ave. Durbanville SAPS were informed and said will send a van. At 17:24 the KNI Member phoned the KNI Control Centre and said to cancel the KNI Armed Response as they had stopped fighting and the one vagrant (the instigator) was leaving the area.
