11 Apr 10 De Bron Avenue
KNI Armed Response reported that on the corners of van Riebeeck Street and De Bron Ave, Durbanville SAPS had stopped a red Fox Volkswagen car and searched the vehicle, registration CY 267---. SAPS found a firearm that belongs to the owner of the car and SAPS are investigating the matter.
10 Apr 10 Kenridge Ave
A KNI Street Patrol Member from Kenridge Ave phoned in and reported a positive break in at their home. They discovered the back side window to their house was removed. Durbanville SAPS was despatched and KNI Armed Response checked the premises with the KNI Client.

KNI Armed Response went to the KNI Street Patrol Member's home in Kenridge Ave, as per client requested response, and they reported an undisclosed amount of valuables stolen.
10 Apr 10 Tafelberg Ave
At 11:35 a KNI Street Patrol and Alarm Monitoring Member in Tafelberg Ave phoned the Control Centre and reported that they had heard noises in their back yard and dogs barking. KNI Armed Response were despatched and reported that they had checked the premises and found all in order.
10 Apr 10 Uitkamp Close
At 15:45 KNI Armed Response conducted a patrol in the area of Uitkamp Close and found garage doors standing open at a KNI Street Patrol and Alarm Monitoring Member's home in Uitkamp Close. At 15:47 the KNI Members were contacted on their cell phones and messages were left. KNI Armed Response closed the doors and patrolled in the area. All was found in order.
09 Apr 10 Kenridge Area
KNI Armed Response conducted patrols in the surrounding areas and discovered potholes in the following areas:
KENRIDGE: Van Riebeeck Ave, Hofmeyer St, Tafelberg Ave, Kenridge Ave, Bulawayo Ave, Salisbury Ave, Durbell St. KENEVER: Glen Close, Corner Doordekraal and Heather, Alison Rd, Village Close, Andrea Close, Alf Street, Hofmeyer Street. DE BRON: Vrymansfontein Rd, Phesantekraal Rd, Corner Vrymansfontein and Kuiperskraal Rd, Corner Vrymansfontein and Roozeboom Rd, Maestricht Rd. The Municipality were informed.
09 Apr 10 Kenridge Centre
KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Centre, a suspicious green Toyota Tazz CA 76----, with two black male occupants and one black female occupant in the Kenridge Centre car park. The driver was acting suspiciously around the FNB-ATM. SAPS were informed and they patrolled the area, as did the KNI Armed Response Officers. The vehicle left the area.
08 Apr 10 Kenridge Ave
A KNI Member from Kenridge Avenue reported an alarm going off excessively down the road. KNI Armed Response and SAPS Durbanville Constable Mover were despatched. On arrival KNI Armed Response reported that ADT was on scene and all was found in order.
08 Apr 10 Tafelberg Ave
A KNI Member from Tafelberg Ave phoned the Control Centre and reported a suspicious black male kept on ringing her door bell. After several attempts, the suspect sat himself down in the garden swing chairs. The suspect was wearing a red t-shirt, hat and carrying a filthy white bag. KNI Armed Response responded and on arrival spoke to the male and he said he is a gardener at a house in Kenridge Ave and the owners are currently not at home. The male was looking for garden work and left the area to go home.
07 Apr 10 Hoogekraal St
KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Centre that a driveway gate was open at a house in Hoogekraal St. It was a Non Member's home. The Control Centre made contact with their neighbour,a KNI Member, to inform them of their neighbour's driveway gate that was open. The NON Member in Hoogekraal St was very thankful that he had been notified.
