16 Mar 10 Tulbagh Ave
A KNI Member from Tulbagh Avenue phoned the Control Centre and reported that someone had tried to cut the chain and lock off from the trailer parked in her driveway. KNI Armed Response was despatched and conducted his patrol and spoke to the client and informed her no irregularities found.
16 Mar 10 De Villiers Ave
KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Centre three black men with balaclavas and bags in Tygervalley Rd and de Villiers. SAPS Durbanville were informed and spoke to Constable Moely and she will send a van to investigate.
15 Mar 10 De Bron Ave
A KNI Member from De Bron Ave reported a suspicious blue Mazda hatch back, driving in Alison Street. KNI Armed Response was despatched. The KNI Member said the driver of the blue Mazda had got out of his vehicle and hid himself between the houses. The KNI Member approached the male and he said he is here to paint the house and no one is staying there. The KNI Member confirmed the suspect was lying as there are people staying there. KNI Armed Response reported on his arrival, the suspect had already left the area. KNI Armed Response liaised with the KNI Member and conducted his patrol and found no irregularities.
14 Mar 10 Van Riebeeck Road
KNI Armed Response reported that on the corner of Van Riebeeck and Tygervalley Rd a vehicle was broken into. According to KNI Armed Response a motorcycle CY 91954 was seen fleeing the area. KNI Armed Response gave pursuit, but could not catch them. SAPS Insp Julies was informed.
14 Mar 10 Woolf St
A KNI Member contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious man in Woolf Street. He was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans and a beanie. When they saw him the first time earlier, he was scouting and as soon as he saw them, he started to scratch in the bins. KNI Armed Response responded at 07h23 and reported back at 07h28. KNI Armed Response reported that he is a regular bin scratcher and is known in the area, but will keep an eye on him.
12 Mar 10 7/11 Kenridge
A panic button was received from 7/11 Kenridge and the Control Centre was notified that there was a fight between two males in front of the shop. KNI Armed Response responded and found two black men fighting. The Durbanville SAPS arrested one of the men and the other escaped when they saw the police and KNI Armed Response.
12 Mar 10 De Bron Avenue
A KNI Member from De Bron Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious coloured male knocking on doors. He was wearing bright block shoes, grey top with words "RAW STAR" on the back and a black beanie. KNI Armed Response responded at 10h16 and reported no suspicious person with the above description in the street or surrounding streets to be found, but will keep on patrolling.
12 Mar 10 Tafelberg Ave
A KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported a horse & cart in Tafelberg Rd. KNI Armed Response responded and reported at 12h36. The horse and cart have an appointment with a resident to come and collect scrap. KNI Armed Response patrolled in the area to keep an eye on them.
11 Mar 10 Bulawayo Ave
A KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported an attempted break-in. SAPS were already notified and KNI Armed Response were also at the Member's house. There were three black males, unfortunately no description of what they were wearing was given.
11 Mar 10 Irene Close
A KNI Member from Irene Close contacted the Control Centre and reported that there was a positive break in at her property at around 13h00. SAPS already on scene and KNI Armed Response were informed.
