11 Mar 10 Soshanna Rd
A KNI Member from Soshanna Rd contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious vehicle with 2 men inside. The one is driving and the other is at the back keeping the back door slightly open and scouting the houses in the street. Old shaped Opel, faded red colour CY 103 516. KNI Armed Response responded at 15h30 and could not find the vehicle in question, but will keep on patrolling the area.
10 Mar 10 Kenridge Area
KNI Armed Response was patrolling the area and came across 3 young males, they were knocking on doors and looking at the houses. They said that they were from the Durbanville Children's Home. The Durbanville Children's Home was contacted and informed of the three young males. Apparently they did not manage to get a lift to pick up the kids. KNI Armed Response informed the Home that he last saw them on Tygerbergvalley Road walking towards the Altydgedacht farm.
09 Mar 10 Meerendal Rd
A KNI Member from Meerendal Rd contacted the Control Centre and reported that there were guineafowl chicks stuck in the storm water drains. SPCA was contacted and two hours later they were saved.
08 Mar 10 Bulawayo Ave
A KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported 3 suspicious coloured males in a white bakkie selling compost and two coloured men walking down the road knocking on doors. The KNI Member requested KNI Armed Response to remove them from the area. KNI Armed Response responded and informed the 5 males to depart from the area.
08 Mar 10 De Bron Area
a NON Member contacted the Control Center and reported a tall black male, wearing a blue overall, asking very personal questions in De Bron. KNI Armed Response responded at 07h56 and reported back at 07h58. He had found seven black men, all wearing blue overalls working for Pre-Media.
08 Mar 10 De Bron Ave
A KNI Member from de Bron Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported that there is a lady that sleeps on the property during the night. The previous night when she went to the shop, she saw a man under the bushes, inside the property, masturbating and who threatened to rape her. KNI Armed Response was informed immediately for extra patrols at night.
08 Mar 10 Kenridge Area
KNI Armed Response was patrolling the Kenridge area and saw 4 coloured men with a television. They were escorted to the relevant house with Insp. van Zyl of SAPD and the owner confirmed that he had given the TV to them.
08 Mar 10 Kenridge Primary School
At 07h10 KNI Armed Response reported that there was a positive break in at Kenridge Primary aftercare. Nothing was stolen. The School's Security Officer & SAPS Inspector van Zyl was on the scene.
08 Mar 10 Vrymansfontein St
At 11h47 KNI Armed Response were patrolling in Vrymansfontein St and found spectacles in a case.
07 Mar 10 Phesantekraal St
At 07:40 a non member phoned the Control Centre and reported people making a loud noise coming from the bush in Phesantekraal St. KNI Armed Response responded and found 5 people and escorted them out of the area.
