02 Mar 10 Woolf St
A KNI Member from Woolf Street reported a suspicious male and female, with a orange bag, entering a property of a resident in Woolf Street and has not yet come out. At 10:43 KNI Armed Response was despatched and arrived at 10:46. At 11:00 KNI Armed Response reported that he had only been able to do a front check as the resident is being monitored by another response company. The safety gate was unlocked. The armed response company was contacted and they said that they would send a vehicle out to investigate.
01 Mar 10 Hoogekraal St
A KNI Member from Hoogekraal Street, De Bron, phoned in said that he had heard noises next door and requested Armed Response assistance. KNI Armed Response was despatched. At 00:55 KNI Armed Response arrived. At 01:10 KNI Armed Response reported that they had spoken to the client and had also found no irregularities but will conduct extra patrols.
01 Mar 10 Kenridge Shopping Centre
At 01:55 KNI Armed Response, while patrolling at the Kenridge Centre, discovered two suspicious white males fiddling with car doors. When they saw the patrol vehicle they fled. KNI Armed Response informed the Security Officer on site, that should he see anything suspicious, to push the panic button immediately.
01 Mar 10 Mildred Rd
A KNI Member from Mildred Road reported a suspicious black male sitting on the side walk outside a neighbour's house. KNI Armed Response was despatched immediately and reported on arrival that there was no suspicious person found. KNI Armed Response did a patrol of the area.
28 Feb 10 Schabort Cr
At 23h23 a KNI Member from Schabort Cr contacted the Control Centre and ask to check on his daughter as his alarm had been activated and he could not reach his daughter. KNI Armed Response responded at 23h39 and reported back all was in order.
27 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 01h45 a KNI Member from De Villiers Ave phoned in to report that there are four men in their back yard, KNI Armed Response responded and SAPS arrived at 02h00. The black men jumped over their wall, and her husband went out, when the dog barked, and saw 3 black males with dark clothing and balaclavas, the 4th male stood on the corner and chased the KNI Member back inside the house and as the KNI Member went inside the house he slammed the security gate and the man stabbed the KNI Member through the security gate. Durbanville SAPS Constable Damingos was informed.
27 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 03h30 KNI Armed Response reported that the men who had attacked the KNI Member previously, were moving through the gardens, by jumping over the walls. A NON KNI Member was robbed beforehand : the 4 men came through the back door while the client was sleeping, they were woken and were robbed. 2 x cell phones and 1x camera, a bag with passport, wallets and credit cards, clothes and undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
26 Feb 10 Altydgedacht Cr
At 23h37 a KNI Member from Altydgedacht Cr contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious black male who tried to flag her down in Franshoek Ave. KNI Armed Response responded and reported back at 23h41, no suspicious person in the area.
25 Feb 10 Meerendal Rd
At 00h50 KNI Armed Response drove past a house in Meerendal Rd and reported an open garage door. The KNI Member was informed.
25 Feb 10 Ongegund St
At 23h20 KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Centre that he noticed a garage door open at a house in Ongegund St. The KNI Member was contacted and informed.
