24 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 04h30 a KNI Member from de Villiers Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported that his trailer was stolen by people driving a white Golf : CA 518479 and the trailer's reg: CY 187019. Constable Gertse was on scene. The gate was forced open.
24 Feb 10 Irene Cl
At 22h20 an anonymous man contacted the Control Centre and screamed "Emergency, Emergency, my neighbour in Irene Close is being attacked by two black men!!" KNI Armed Response responded and arrived at 22h24. SAPS 10111 was informed by the son and had not arrived yet at 22h40. SAPS Durbanville was contacted and spoke to Constable Kraai. The son was swimming in the pool in the back yard (the gate to the back yard had no lock - access was gained through there), and as he walked towards the open back door, he saw the men entering the house. One had a knife and the other grabbed his mother by the arm and tried to get the watch off her wrist. They then demanded some valuable goods. The son screamed and then jumped over the fence to the neighbour's yard. They had already left the house by the time the police and armed response arrived. No one was injured.
24 Feb 10 Kenridge Area
At 20h10 a KNI Member contacted the Control Centre and reported that her daughter was attacked and robbed on the way to school in the morning.. KNI Armed Response was informed to be more alert in the mornings.
23 Feb 10 Alison Rd
At 08h12 a KNI Member from Alison Rd contacted the Control Centre and reported that her domestic spotted a white, short male with a bag, who had jumped over a fence at her neighbour's home. KNI Armed Response responded at 08h12 and reported back at 08h33. KNI Armed Response reported that it had been the tenant that stays at the back of her neighbour's. He had arrived home and found the gate locked. He then jumped over the wall to gain access. All was found in order.
23 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 02h38 a KNI Member contacted the Control Centre and reported three men had jumped over a fence in De Villiers Ave. KNI Armed Response responded at 02h38. They reported back that they had patrolled the street and surrounding streets, but could not find anyone. All else was found in order.
23 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 11h09 a KNI Member from De Villiers Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported that during the night they had heard a noise in her garden. On the far side of the KNI Member's house is a bush, and as the KNI Member exited the house and got closer, three young males jumped over the fence. The KNI Member asked to please send someone and see whether there were things that were hidden, to collect later. She also found a modem from a computer on the outside of her yard. KNI Armed Response responded and reported back at 11h38. There were a few possessions found under the bush.

At 16h15 the KNI Member from de Villiers Ave contacted the Control Centre and confirmed the possessions found in the bush belonged to the KNI Member from Kenridge Ave, where the break in occurred.
23 Feb 10 Glen Way
At 01h25 KNI Armed Response were patrolling in Glen Way and reported that the main gate was open at house in Glen Way. The KNI Member was contacted and informed.
23 Feb 10 Kenridge Ave
At 08h50 a KNI Member from Kenridge Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported that she had had a positive break-in during the the night,. The KNI Member only realised they had been burgled, when they woke up at about 07h10. SAPS Jolene was informed. The perpetrators gained access through an open window with no burglar bars. A few possessions were stolen as well as money, ID book and driver's licence.
23 Feb 10 Tafelberg Ave
At 15h12 a KNI Member from Tafelberg Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious white vehicle CA 233945 driving slowly in Tafelberg Ave. KNI Armed Response responded at 15h13 and reported back at 15h30. No vehicle with that registration number to be found in the vicinity of Tafelberg Ave, but will keep on patrolling.
