06 Feb 10 Cathcart Rd
At 08h20 KNI Armed Response informed the Control Centre about an open garage door, at the same house as mentioned earlier in the week, in Cathcart Rd. The KNI Member was informed. At 14h50 the KNI Member called back and requested that the KNI Armed Response to close garage door. Extra patrols were arranged.
05 Feb 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 12h58 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious white bakkie with a few black men sittingon the back, parked outside his house as he drove off. KNI Armed Response responded at 12h59 and reported back at 13h04. The bakkie described belongs to a garden service and they were busy with a garden nearby. The KNI Member was given feedback.
05 Feb 10 De Villiers Ave
At 06h47 KNI Armed Response drove past a house in De Villiers Ave and found a number plate laying in front of the premises. He further noticed that the number plate matched the front number plate of a double cab. The KNI Member was contacted and KNI Armed Response handed the number plate to her.
04 Feb 10 Cathcart Rd
At 09h50 a KNI Member from Cathcart Rd was informed that their garage door was found open by an KNI Armed Response Officer while on patrol. The KNI Member called back later and asked for KNI Armed Response to close the garage door. Extra patrols were arranged.
04 Feb 10 Kenridge Ave
At 07h55 a KNI Member from Kenridge Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported suspicious Nigerian wearing a white t-shirt, white cap and blue jeans. He was "checking out" the houses. KNI Armed Response Officers responded at 07h56 and reported back at 08h00. The man is en route to his work. The KNI Member was given feedback.
04 Feb 10 Kenridge Ave
At 08h17 KNI Armed Response Officer reported while on patrol he saw a white Tazz CY 336-206 that had been broken into in Kenridge Ave. A few items were stolen: 1 home-made black board with two speakers; 1 camera; 1 cooler box and 1 bag of clothes.
04 Feb 10 Upper Kenridge Ave
At 15h41 a KNI Member from Upper Kenridge Ave reported a suspicious barrel in the road and a cone. KNI Armed Response responded and reported back at 15h39. He had removed the barrel and the cone out of the road. The KNI Member was given feedback.
03 Feb 10 Glen Way
At 14h00 KNI Armed Response Officers found 2 men, under a tree, sleeping in Glen Way. They were wearing blue jeans, blue dust coats with white spots and one had a brown cap. KNI Armed Response Officer also found a white trolley with them. They were woken and asked to leave the area.
03 Feb 10 Kenridge Ave
At 14h30 a KNI Member from Kenridge Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported a suspicious white Ford bakkie with two black men. They had reversed until they came to a neighbours house in Kenridge Ave, stopped and stared at the house. KNI Armed Response responded at 14h31 and reported back at 14h35. The men are working for Brewer Opmeters. All was found in order.
03 Feb 10 Soshanna Rd
At 13h30 KNI Armed Response Officer found 2 men wandering in Soshanna Rd, one wearing a light blue t-shirt, blue jeans and brown cap. The KNI Armed Response Officer asked the one man where they are en route to, and he replied they were walking the area. KNI Armed Response asked them to leave the area and were escorted out.
