14 Jan 10 c/o Door de Kraal and De Bron Ave
At 19h09 a black man wearing black jeans, a blue top, blue jacket with a rusta hoodie and carrying three bags was seen on the corner of Door de Kraal & De Bron Ave's. SAPS were notified.
14 Jan 10 Door De Kraal Ave
At 09h44 a KNI Member contacted the Control Center and reported that as he drove past the open field in Door de Kraal Ave he saw two men, one wearing a blue overall in front of a tree and the other behind the tree. They seemed to have some sort of weapon. KNI Armed Response responded at 09h45 and reported back at 09h47. KNI Armed Response reported that he saw a gentleman wearing blue overalls in Soshanna Street dropping off pamphlets. SAPS were informed at 09h47. KNI Armed Response reported at 09h58 that the SAPS had found a knife in his possession and the SAPS removed them from the area. Another male was found in Door de Kraal Street. He was also searched, but nothing was found on him. He was also wearing blue overalls.
14 Jan 10 Kenridge NG Kerk
At 19h30 KNI Armed Response informed the Control Center about a black man at the Kenridge NG Kerk. The man had a bag with him. When he was asked what was in the bag, the man got aggressive and slapped the KNI Armed Response Officer. The KNI Armed Response Officer asked for SAPS to assist with the search and the removal of the gentleman. When SAPS arrived they searched the man, and the bag he was carrying, and found copper wire. He was then taken into custody.
14 Jan 10 Soshanna St
At 08h52 a KNI Member from Soshanna St contacted the Control Center and reported a suspicious man standing outside a house in Soshanna St. KNI Armed Response responded and reported the man's name is Stephen and is working as the gardener at that particular house in Soshanna St. The resident of that house, a KNI Member, was contacted and he confirmed Stephen is his gardener. The KNI Member was given feedback.
13 Jan 10 Durbell and Schabort Streets
At 06h55 a NON MEMBER contacted the Control Center and reported a black man wearing a light shirt, pink beanie and black pants, walking in Durbell and Schabort streets since 05h00. KNI Armed Response responded at 06h57 and reported back at 07h31. KNI Armed Response found the man and escorted him out of the area.
12 Jan 10 Bulawayo Ave
At 00h12 KNI Armed Response noticed a garage door open in Bulawayo Ave. The KNI Member was contacted and informed.
12 Jan 10 Kenridge Primary School
At 02h44 KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Center that the SAPS had found two ladies and two gentlemen swimming in the Kenridge Primary School swimming pool.
11 Jan 10 Alison Rd
At 23h05 a KNI Member from Alison Rd contacted the Control Centre and reported they heard gun shots outside. KNI Armed Response responded and reported they could not find anything out of the ordinary in Alison Street or surrounding streets.
11 Jan 10 Kalmen St
At 00h41 KNI Armed Response informed the Control Center about an open garage door found in Kalmen Street, unfortunately no member of the KNI.
11 Jan 10 Phesantekraal St
At 17h00 a KNI Member from Phesantekraal St contacted the Control Centre and reported a red Toyota bakkie selling compost in Phesantekraal St. KNI Armed Response responded at 17h01 and reported back at 17h04. KNI Armed Response found the vehicle and escorted them out of the area.
