11 Sep 09 Diemersdal Rd

At 01h26 KNI Armed Response reported to the Control Centre that garage doors were open at a house in Diemersdal Rd (NON CLIENT.)  KNI Armed Response notified the resident and he was upset for being wakened.

10 Sep 09 Soshanna Rd

At 11h52 a KNI Member from Soshanna Rd contacted the KNI Control Room and reported that a neighbours garage door was open and it does not seem if there is anyone there. There was a black boy & girl passing the house very slowly. KNI Armed Response responded at 11h53 and reported back at 11h57 that the owner is at home and he confirmed that the man had worked for him previously and he was just giving a few things away to him. The KNI Member was given feedback at 11h58 via her cellphone.

10 Sep 09 Upper Kenridge Ave

At 08h39 KNI Armed Response Officer reported that a KNI Member's, in Upper Kenridge Ave, garage door and gate is standing open.  The KNI Member was informed via cellphone and replied he will go out and close them.  Thanked us.

08 Sep 09 Bulawayo Ave

At 13h56 a KNI Member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported the same white bakkie still patrolling the Kenridge area. Currently he is driving in Kenridge Ave.  KNI Armed Response Officers responded at 13h56.  KNI Armed Response reported back at 14h00 that they have seen them in the area before and it is a white Isuzu CY 78556 with a red line on both sides of the bakkie running from the back to the front of the doors. The gentleman driving the vehicle is Marvin 078 717 2031 and lives in Freedom Farm, Belhar. The KNI Member  was informed and confirmed it was the incorrect bakkie; it's got a "cage" at the back of the vehicle. KNI Armed Response Officer was informed and proceeded to the KNI Member's home. KNI Armed Response Officer reported back that it was the right bakkie.  SAPS Inspector Wentzel was informed and he will give the information through to all vehicles and will get back to me if something was found positive. Constable Katz from Durbanville Police station called back and reported he had caught the men and the bakkie and the KNI Member was informed to call Const Katz.

07 Sep 09 Kenridge Ave

At 16h24 a KNI Member from Kenridge Ave contacted the Control Center and reported a suspicious man loading garden stuff in a trailer.  KNI armed response responded at 16h22 and reported at 16h27 all in order: the man was cleaning the garden.  THe KNI Member was given feedback.

07 Sep 09 Bulawayo Ave

At 20H35 a KNI Member from  Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Center and asked to be escorted inside her house.  KNI Armed Response responded and reported all in order, KNI Member is safe and secure.  She thanked the KNI response Officer.

05 Sep 09 van der Stel Ave

At 01h25 a KNI Member from van der Stel Ave contacted the Control Center and reported a suspicious silver blue Hyundai, reg: CJ 188964.  KNI Member was given feedback.

04 Sep 09 Bulawayo Ave

At 12h32 a lady from Bulawayo Ave, (NON MEMBER) contacted the Control Centre and reported a black man wearing brown clothing and a blue bag over his shoulder,  gained access to her property via the side gate (which the garden services left unlocked on Thursday).  Luckily they have very big dogs and the dogs chased him out of the yard and he went running down the street. KNI Officers responded at 12h34 and reported back at 12h40, no sign of the above man in the surrounding area.  KNI Armed Response Officer wanted to give feedback to the lady, but there was no answer at the door.  

04 Sep 09 Tafelberg Rd

At 12h43 a KNI Member from  Tafelberg Rd, contacted the Control Centre and reported that his wife was driving into their driveway when she saw a coloured man (that already broke the lock of the garage). He was disturbed as Mrs Campher pulled up in the driveway and took off, wearing a blue overall, brown cap. Client already informed ADT.  KNI Armed Response Officer responded at 12h44. Unfortunately they did not find the suspicious person in the vicinity.

04 Sep 09 van der Stel Ave

At 23h25 a KNI Member from van der Stel Ave contacted the Control Center and reported that there were people fighting and swearing outside his house. KNI Armed Response Officer responded at 23h26 and attempted to speak to them, unfortunately they gave him a hard time and KNI Officer asked for SAPS assistance. Durbanville SAPS were contacted they will send a van.
