10 Aug 09 Schabort Crescent
At at 07h00 KNI Response reported to the Control Centre that the gate of a KNI Member in Schabort Crescent, Durbell was open and to inform client. The KNI Member was informed via cell at 07h22 and client reported he is working and thanked KNI Officer for being so observant.
09 Aug 09 Rhodes Ave
At 07h30 KNI Officer reported the side gate of the house in Rhodes Ave was standing open and wanted to know if client was aware of it. KNI Member was contacted immediately, but to no success. KNI Officers entered the property to confirm all is well. KNI Officers reported that the back window was open and burglar bars intact. At 07h51 the KNI Member contacted the Control Centre and the KNI Member was informed regarding the founding on property. Client asked for the KNI Officer to check for the led light and see whether it is on or not. KNI Officer reported that the led light was on. All in order.
05 Aug 09 Phesantekraal Ave
At 18h26 a KNI Member from Phesantekraal Ave contacted the Control Centre and reported that he had had a break in. Only jewellery was taken. It was reported that the KNI Member had left the back window open for the cat and access to the property was gained through the side gate. The KNI Member had already informed the SAPS, but by 18h45 the SAPS had not arrived. The controller contacted the SAPS and spoke to a police officer. KNI Officer responded at 18h27 and arrived at 18h28.
04 Aug 09 Meerendal St
At 14h50 KNI Officer reported an open gate and two cars parked inside and wanted to know if everything's in order at a house in Meerendal St. The KNI Member was contacted and he reported his wife is at home and confirmed all in order, no need to worry.
04 Aug 09 Maestricht St
At 02h10 a KNI Member from Maestricht St contacted the Control Centre and reported she heard a blood-curling scream. A resident from Maestricht St found a knife in their back garden. She confirmed the SAPS had already been notified. KNI Officer responded at 02h11. KNI Officer reported back at 02h16 that he saw two ADT vehicles at the house in Maestricht St. At 02h16 ADT was contacted regarding finding, and the controller at ADT confirmed all was in order and they did not want to give out any information. At 02h25 feedback was given to the KNI Member who had phoned in. At 02h44 KNI Officer reported that a resident at another house in Maestricht St had pressed the panic (non client - monitored by District Watch) and a resident from another house in Maestricht St (monitored by ADT) had pressed their panic button as they heard noises in their yards. KNI Officer reported that the men that left the knife in the back yard of the house in Maestricht St had jumped over the walls.
03 Aug 09 Door de Kraal
At 20h37 a KNI member contacted the Control Center and reported she saw people carrying boxes out of the premises at a house in Door de Kraal Ave. KNI Officer responded at 20h39 and reported back at 20h41. A person is moving out of the area and she and friends were taking the last of her belongings. All in order and gave feedback to the KNI Member.
01 Aug 09 Kenridge Centre
At 02h33 KNI Response Officer reported that he received a phone call from the Security Officer from Seven Eleven regarding a gentleman causing some trouble. KNI Response Officer reported back at 02h50 that HRF Officers were chasing vagrants.
31 Jul 09 Kenridge Ave
At 10h06 Lorraine from HRF Alarms contacted the KNI Control Center and reported that a resident from Kenridge Avenue contacted their control center and reported to them that there was a white Ford bakkie in Kenridge Ave dropping off people. KNI Response Officer responded, but no such vehicle was spotted in Kenridge Ave or nearby vicinity.
30 Jul 09 Kenridge Centre
At 14h00 a KNI Member contacted the Control Center and reported a suspicious white a GTi Golf CY 22134 with four black men- armed and dangerous. SAPS is also searching for them. They have been driving around and around at BP Garage and was @ 7/11 also. KNI Response Officers were informed. They responded and proceeded to 7/11. Reported back that the vehicle not in site. Will continue to keep a look out for them.
29 Jul 09 Kendal Rd
A KNI Member contacted the Control Center and reported two men, (both wearing canvas belts and a p-cap)jumping over a wall in the vicinity of Kendal Road. KNI Response Officer was notified and reported he could not see the persons. While searching for them, an alarm activated in Heather St which is monitored via Basset security. Basset arrived shortly afterwards and reported all was in area. KNI Response Officer had a suspicion it was them jumping over that wall. Unfortunately there was no one seen with that description.
