At 07h27 a KNI Member from Lobenstijn Rd, De Bron, contacted the Control Centre and reported a white BMW CA 186 491 standing in front of his house since early this morning. KNI Response Officer responded at 07h28 and reported all in order.
21 Jul 09 Soshanna St
At 10h50 KNI Response Officer reported in Soshanna Str (sometimes twice a week) there is a dark brown Isuzu bakkie CA 118456 selling compost. Mr Roy Peterson (021) 691 8759; David (Jnr) on bakkie as well as coloured and black men.
21 Jul 09 Tygervalley Rd
At 10h40 KNI Response Officer reported that at the back of KPS school - Tygervalley Road there is a big truck CK 39027 as well as white bakkie CA 337208 selling wood. If any residents are querying these vehicles.
19 Jul 09 Kenridge Centre - Garage
At 11h20 the 7/11 (a KNI Member) contacted the Control Center and reported four men in a white Mini Kombi/Taxi, CA 20702 had failed with an attempted Armed Robbery at the Caltex garage, a NON KNI Member. An SMS/E-mail was send out with particulars.

At 14h50 a KNI Member thanked all the KNI Armed Response Officers for looking after her premises, while she was away on holiday.
18 Jul 09 Roozeboom St
At 01h57 KNI Armed Response Officer reported an open garage door in Roozeboom St, while doing his patrols. The owner was contacted. At 02h01 KNI Armed Response Officer reported to the Control Center that the client had closed his garage door.
14 Jul 09 Bulawayo Ave
At 09h15 a NON KNI member from Bulawayo Ave contacted the Control Center reported a suspicious person. KNI Armed Response Officer responded at 09h16 and reported no such person to be found in that vicinity or surrounding area. KNI Armed Response will keep a lookout for the person while doing his patrol.

13 Jul 09 Upper Kenridge Ave
At 08h20 a KNI Member from Upper Kenridge Ave contacted the Control Center and reported a coloured man, who looks very suspicious. He normally scratches in bins, but it was not garbage day. He is wearing a short pants with takkies or shoes. He was standing at the stop street in Bulawayo Ave. He asked KNI Armed Response to investigate and remove the man from the area. KNI Armed Response responded at 08h21, and at 08h45 reported all in order and removed the person from the area. The KNI Member was contacted and given feedback.
10 Jul 09 cnr van Riebeeck and Tafelberg Rd
At 09h00 KNI Armed Patrol Officer gave the Control Center a telephone number found on a business card re the hand basket found. The controller contacted the number and had spoken to the lady who's hand basket it was and apparently someone had tried to hi-jack her the previous night, but to no success, and as a result they then took her hand basket, hoping they would find something valuable inside. She works for a hair studio in Voortrekker Road, Durbanville. (Not a member of KNI.)
10 Jul 09 Ongegund St
At 04h48 a KNI Member contacted the Control Center and reported he saw a white BMW with 2 occupants (1 white man and 1 coloured man) stealing petrol from a resident's vehicle and drove away when they saw other people coming. KNI Armed Response Officer responded at 04h58. KNI Armed Response Officer spoke to the KNI Member and he will patrol the nearby areas.
